Herbalist 9: the New Austin herbs (buggy method)

Sneak into New Austin as Arthur in a buggy to pick the last herbs for Herbalist 9 without the sniper killing you.

The steps

1. Get a buggy and pick your path

   • Weapon or tool: A buggy (stolen wagon)

   For this part the video strongly recommends a buggy, but you can use any other method. Use this path as it is the easiest.

2. Mask on, camera follow off

   Do not forget to put your mask on and switch your camera follow off.

3. Stay just off the road

   Do not stay on the road - rather stay just off the road.

4. Adjust the camera near the bridge

   As you get close to this bridge, adjust your camera. You are the sniper: if you can see Arthur's head, the sniper can see it too. Use photo mode to check how you are positioned.

5. First herb: tilt camera right

   Tilt your camera to face the right of the buggy. Be careful not to expose Arthur's head through the hole. Re-adjust the camera as it zooms in, and jump back in after the shot.

6. Follow the train tracks

   To avoid lawmen, use the train tracks. You will not get run over.

7. Second herb in Benedict Pass

   • Where: Benedict Pass

   The second location in New Austin, at Benedict Pass. Tilt the camera right again and jump out after the shot.

   Watch out: If his head gets exposed, quickly cover it like at 8:02.
