Herbalist challenges 6-8 (Chapter 3)

1. Herbalist 6: 15 species in this area

   Pick 15 different herbs. There are lots here. Herbs you picked BEFORE the challenge do not count - pick them again. Turn on EAGLE EYE - herbs glow.

2. Burdock root and blackberries

   You can find a lot of burdock root by riverbanks. The blackberries are in the same place as Herbalist 2.

3. Second herb area near Twin Stack Pass

   • Where: Near Twin Stack Pass

   The second area with lots of herbs: wild carrot, parasol mushroom, milkweed, American ginseng.

   Go to this spot and take the SPECIAL MIRACLE TONIC PAMPHLET (it is with some high-velocity rifle cartridges) - or buy it at a fence. Open it from your satchel and READ it.

5. Pick 6 burdock root along the river

   • Where: River near Mount Hagen / the Dakota River

   Not far away, burdock root grows all along this river (any river works - the Dakota River has lots). Use Eagle Eye, or follow the video.

6. Pick 6 yarrow and 6 golden currant

   • Where: New Hanover / near Van Horn Trading Post

   You can find all the yarrow you need in New Hanover. The video picks golden currant near the Van Horn Trading Post.

7. Craft and drink 5 special miracle tonics

   • Ammo or bait: Golden currant x6, yarrow x6, burdock root x6

   Set up camp. The recipe only shows once you have everything: 6 currant + 6 yarrow + 6 burdock root makes 5 tonics. Craft them, then DRINK all 5.

9. Craft 6 poison arrows

   • Ammo or bait: Arrows + oleander sage + flight feather

   Set up camp, crafting > AMMO > ARROW - POISON. Each needs 1 arrow, 1 oleander sage, 1 flight feather. Craft 6.
